Hi,
Is there a derailleur hanger that would facilitate fitting a derailleur gear changer to a frame that is designed to effect chain adjustment by sliding the wheel backwards in a horizontal slot? - You know the one with the little adjuster on the end. (Hope I've described that well enough - I know it doesn't read well!)

In short I'm wanting to put a derailleur gearchange onto an old Ezee where the original had the Shimanao hub gears.

I did that on one of my eZee bikes, a slot-frame Quando, photos below. This hanger is made by Shimano but is very difficult to source, I got mine from St Johns Cycles. Called the Compatible Rear Gear Hanger Bracket it's at the trifling cost of £2.99. Here's the page link. Must be one of the cheapest Shimano components ever!
