Just had a look at Pic #1 the IEC type is the discharge lead and it clearly shows the discharge IEC type lead at the top of the seat post.
MK is correct the charge point looks to be a DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm or 2.5mm socket at the bottom of the battery.
There are a few on ebay that should work but make sure it states SLA 36v.
Good morning Nealh - thank you once more for your help with this.
I collected the battery pack yesterday after having the new batteries fitted.
I have checked the pack over to see if there were any other points to charge it.
On one side there were six holes for the cross head retaining screws.
On the narrow side there was a hole for the security bolt.
Apart from the fuse holder, there were no other points available.
Therefore it appears that the ‘kettle’ type orifice is the only point to charge.
I note that the Earth point is at right angles to prevent a kettle plug being pushed in accidentally.
I will send off for the charger (36v) that you indicated in your previous post and hopefully it will be suitable for mine.
Your advice is much appreciated.

I wouldn't buy it until you are 100% sure.

It may be the fact that the charge & discharge may be same port, some Li BMS use same port charge/discharge as higher currents charging can take place.
