Can anyone help me find the voltage range for the 36v controller fitted to the Ezee Sprint (four years old). I need to know the maximum permitted voltage and the cut off voltage. My nmhi carry on but they are getting a bit sad and I want to explore the options.

The cutoff voltage is 31.5 volts, the maximum voltage permitted is nominally 44 volts, but varying plus or minus a half volt in eZee controllers.

No damage is done by over-volting, the controller LED merely cuts out after first lighting, then gives a rapid 7 flash signal and refuses to run the motor.

Just a little update here. The latest spec eZee controllers I am supplying are suitable for batteries up to and including 48V.

That's good to hear that John, the old spec was a bit tight for some fully charged battery options that are around today
