I announced in another thread that I would shortly have available much cheaper sources for replacement chargers. The announcement will probably be later in January, but meanwhile, if you have a failed one, please don't throw it away as the battery connector will have to be reused for the new charger.
It's a particular 7 pin pattern of power DIN connector which I'm no longer able to find available at present from the usual sources, RS etc. Audio DIN connectors do not use this pattern, and the similar pattern DIN style connectors available now are IP67 types using thicker pins. If anyone has a failed charger and lead which they've already replaced, I'd like to purchase it from them.
