Gauging Interest - Wisper 806 Alpino

Hi

We bought our Wisper 806 Alpino , it's a 20" folder ....... from OnBike (Kidderminster) in late September/early October. 2012

The bike was bought to fit into the garage of our motorhome (we have another bike also but thats another story), the condition of the bike is as new .

The bike has only done 110 miles in total and had 4 charging cycles overall , the reason for wanting to sell is that my wife just does not like it.

We previously had crank-drive bikes and she misses that ........... so after much gnashing of teeth and deliberation decided to see if there is any interest out there

Edit ......... latest Wisper 806 Classic is priced at £1499 , built in Germany but spec. a little less than my Alpino but ask questions if you want to know more !!!

If there is anyone interested in a hub-drive folding bike you will not be disappointed , this is excellent

An unashamed "bump" but it does look as if its not a good time to be doing this , as I said asking price is ONO. - try me with something you never know ......
If unsold by end April we will keep the bike , I will not go the e-bay/Pay-Pal route again , I did that last year with non-folders and managed from memory 13.5% costs!!!!

Good idea ....... tbh. I was hoping (foolishly) that a crank-drive dealer would make me an offer I just could not refuse in p/ex for a KTM. or AVE XH3

Tempting but will pass. Sold all our Wisper bikes only to take a 2009 SE in part exchange . Will be getting new German Wispers in soon.

If you had two I may have made an offer had some people interested in buying two new wisper folders. Although lost the sale as 2013 models are not yet available. Second hand market is a bit difficult as people are often reluctant to purchase pre-owned models in case of battery problems. However we have a battery tester so we can reassure people on this front, in process of adaprting so it can test a wider range of batteries.
