Help! Giant Lafree crankcase creak

The Lafree's Panasonic unit develops creaks between the three mounting points and the frame, so tightening those three bolts, two at the front and one above the rear is the answer. They do need to be very tight.

That means removing the cowlings to get at the bolts which is a fiddley job to say the least, particularly fitting them back on.

However, first make sure it's not the crank arms that are creaking on the pedalshaft since that can often happen on the Lafree. That usually occurs only or mainly on one side, so easily discovered as you thrust down on the pedals.
