giant Spare Parts

i have been given a Giant Hybrid which is is need of some parts ie The controller screen that mounts on the handlebars and a battery key and a charger does anyone know where i am likely to get the parts ( ok charger from ebay) or would i be better of converting this. i would prefer to spend as little as possible

I'd want to get as far away from the proprietary stuff as possible, but you'll probably find that software locks you to OEM replacements.

My first question is this bike legitimate. Sounds like it could be stolen. No keys, no charger and no display ( owner would removed it before locking up ).

it is legit its quite battered as well came from a student in cambridge
