Green Edge CS2 controller question

Hi all
Can any CS2 owners please tell me what the function of holding down the + button does? A little icon appears on the top right of the display, looks a bit like a headlight beam.
Does anyone know what this is?

The LCD has the function in the software to send a signal to the controller to switch the lights on, but your controller doesn't have that possibility to respond. Also, it switches the backlight on so that you can see the LCD in the dark. If the backlight doesn't toggle on/off with a long hold of the "+" button, try pressing andholding the power button at the same time.
