Gtech Ebikes Closing

Maybe it got mentioned before, but I didn't hear anything. It seems that Gtech no longer are making ebikes, and they sold their last stock on Ebay. That might be a bit awkward for people who have those bikes and will need replacement batteries some time in the future. They still have the V2 battery listen in their spares catalogue, but I can imagine that it won't be long before they run out. I always thought that the Gtech was a bit of a wasted opportunity. Their bikes worked OK but felt a bit cheap when you rode one, but why didn't they put a decent sized battery on it, especially the MTB? We'll never know now.

If I remember right, people were already having difficulties getting Gtech V1 batteries even while Gtech were still in operation.
