Hi there, I have been browsing this forum unregistered for some time now and it is coming up to the time for me to make my purchase. I have a few questions and such, so i'll be making some threads for that soon. Main use is going to be commuting to work at 3am.. :)

Thanks

Welcome Kenji, I have been commuting to work (25 miles a day) for a couple of months now so happy to help any way I can. Do you know what bike you are going to get yet?

Hi Kenji welcome aboard. Ebike choice? Sounds like you will need good lights and reflective clothing for 3am rides. Apart from that for commuting a solid rack, adequate mudguards and comfort are high on the agenda. There are many choices but would stick with Yamaha or Bosch motors as they seem to be the most dependable. I have a friend who purchased a Raleigh Captus for a bargain price from Halfords and is very pleased with it, but most giving advice would say try a few different models from an ebike specialist dealer before deciding. I wouldn't bother buying anything with. a. Battery less than 400 watt hours capacity and check the chargers not to large to carry in bike bag or back pack. Happy hunting!

Good rain coat, leggings and overshoes if riding in rain. Overshoes also help keep feet warm on cold mornings.

If need extra lights, 300 lumens or greater ideally USB rechargeable.
