Hi There, I have just picked up an Eco Expedition e-bike, as a bit of a project. Bought it cheap as the battery doesn't work so I will be looking for a replacement option as I believe they have gone out of business! Any advice along the way greatly appreciated!

The battery is a standard part that you can get from Ebay. Search for "36v bottle battery". As you have a separate controller, you can use any downtube battery you want, which gives you the chance to increase range, reduce weight, get more power or whatever you want.. They come with the frame mount and charger. All you have to do is join the two wires. The other types are much easier to remove because they just unclip. You don't have to unscrew the connector like you do at the moment.
