Can any body tell me if the speed dongle works as well on the haibike yamaha sduro as well as it does on the Bosch xduro

It's not as easy as that. You have to pay attention to what sort of speed sensor the bike has. If it's on the chain-stay, no problem, but some have them on the rear hub, in which case the replacement speed sensor won't fit. The wheel magnet tells you what sensor it has. if you have a conventional spoke magnet, it's OK. the other type has the magnet inside the disc.
