Homemade electric bike

hi all, I have been wanting to make my own electric bike for a while now but not to sure about what controller to get,

I want to keep the cost as low as possible and I already have a motor which is 36 volt, 800 watt, 28.4A and 2800 RPM

I have found this controller on e-bay and was wondering if it would work with my motor,

If not could anyone point me in the right direction.

Hi that controller is NOT suitable I assume you need a brush less controller you can tell if it has 3 thick wires and 5 thin wires in the motor cable

thank you, i was thinking of starting with 3x 12v 15ah lead batteries because i really can't afford a li-ion one at the minute then upgrade later when i have saved some petrol money! (my bike will be used for work)
