No real surprise as the Brose had a recent update and the CX is a couple of years old now.

If the next iteration of the CX is as good an upgrade as the ActiveLine Plus 2018 was (basically making the latter the best <15% gradient touring motor in the world) then I've no doubt it will jump to the front again.

That said the 2019 CX system upgrades so far floated so far (mainly better walk assist) don't seem very exciting.

no mention that the Brose is brand new and there is no data on reliability yet. Personally, 6 months in, I am delighted with my choice of Shimano E8000 on a bike designed to make the most of it's advantages...

Was looking at the new Specialized Levo range today and they looked very neat with the Brose motor, first time I've seen them.
