Is it possible to install PAS on this type of bracket? This belongs to a specialised rockhopper.

Yes two options;
1. Use a KT V12L all in one sensor, though one has to ensure the gap between inner crank and BB face is approx. 8mm . So may need along BB unit or one machines /grinds material off the inside of the cranks boss.

2. Use a standard two part PAS as long as one can secure the disc on the sq taper axle.

Aye but not the most responsive PAS imo, although I was using a 12 magnet ring before trying it.
