Hello world - this is my first post to ask your advice and help on converting my old Xootr Swift folder - I’m really excited about breathing new life into it. This would be my first ebike altogether.

I’ve read the handful of threads on this site of people who have successfully converted the Swift and love it, but a lot of the kits and recommendations are no longer sold or dated. I’m wondering if you all have a recommendation of a sub £600 kit that might be feasible. I don’t know if that price range is reasonable or not.

The wheels on the Swift are 20” with a standard 100 mm fork. Given the design and limitations on how it folds, I’ve been looking at front hub motors. I’m interested and grateful for any advice or recommendations that you might have for kits. Thank you so much!

£600 is a good budget.
The Aikema motor's are very well priced at about 60 - 80 quid. You can get everything from here

Or see what Woosh bikes have on offer.
