Oxygen City Bike Throttle Control

My Oxygen City bike has throttle control. The trouble is it doesn't seem to work!

If I lift the back wheel off the ground and operate the throttle control, the wheel goes round at something like 1 or 2mph. If I sit on the bike nothing happens.

Any ideas, please? Presumably it is some setting on the display console?

You have yours set to 4 mph, which is the legal maximum. Most of them can be set to full-speed throttle by pressing the right buttons on the LCD. There's different Oxygen City bikes. Which one do you have?

Not with you on it, it is designed as a walk along assist. This is the EN 15194 legal mode.

Like that or the same as that. There's four different versions that all look the similar. Show us a picture of the LCD.
