Panasonic have introduced 36 volts for the 2012 season, presumably to match the offerings from Bosch et al which are also 36 volt. Since Derby Cycles/Kalkhoff are their main customer and they have introduced their own Impulse system in competition, I don't see Panasonic doing so well next year, especially in view of their greatly increased prices.
