Yes, but you need to some electronics and some tinkering.

You would need to change the existing motor controller. Look in the conversions forum you will see stacks available, the motor and battery is not important as you have that, mounting and wiring the controller is the thing, technically straight forward, practically it will need a bit of playing with.

Lots of people on here use conversions, that's all you are doing, but you already have some of the kit.

So easy really, best of luck!

You can do it with a cruise control. You buy a thumb throttle, take out the spring and wire it with the other one and a switch like this:

You can then set any speed on the cruise throttle and switch to it any time. You must use brake switches. You can then set the cruise speed, and when you want to slow down, just feather the brake. As soon as you let go of the brake, you get the assistance again.

You can also make a mechanical cruise control using a normal thumb throttle. You use an old light clamp that clamps to the handlebars next to the throttle. You screw a short bar to it that reaches across the thumb piece. Adjust the friction in the clamp so that the bar will hold the throttle open. You can over-ride it at any time by pressing the thumb-piece. Details in this thread. Saneagle has been using that method for 4 years and still has it on his bike:

Hi. You could try searching Electric bike controller on eBay.. Then you just need to look for one that either has an led / lcd with it, for a choice of assist levels, or at least one that has the wires for it.

You can't use just any controller. It has to be right for your motor, battery and the power you want. Tell us what it's for and what else you have, then perhaps we can help you.

Then you need to show us what you've got. every connector needs to be spread out so that we can see them.
