Tom Stanton made a DIY capacitor bike, which shows what you can expect. Basically, you get all the weight disadvantage of an ebike, no fun freewheeling downhill and not a lot of help anywhere else. In the case of the Pi-Pop bike, you pay an extra £2000 for that.
