I wonder if anybody can help ?
I have a KTM Ventura with Shimano STEPS motor and Di 8 speed hub. After developing a fault, I found it necessary to buy a second hand MU 705 motor changing unit.
Bike at local independent shop now, as other works needed as well.
When the new motor unit is connected (but not fitted to the rear wheel) , a display error E 030 appears and the power will not turn on. When using the up and down gear shift buttons on the handlebar electronic selector, there are 11 separate movements in the motor, not the expected 8.
I wonder if the Di system has to be set for 8 speed again ?
And how would this be done ?
Any thoughts, experiences and suggestions very welcome.
