I'm not so sure it is. It's a front brake only with an integrated gear shifter that will only work with compatible gears, it's a bit of a niche product that people on here are unlikely to need.

Thanks and looks like a good upgrade for my bike. Shame it comes at the wrong time of year when funds are limited.

There is also the cheaper LX version Shimano LX Disc Brakes Dual Contol M585 | Buy Online | ChainReactionCycles.com

I opted for these with 185mm rotors when upgrading my Forza to hydraulics Clarks S2 Hydraulic Disc Brake | Buy Online | ChainReactionCycles.com although mine came from eBay and cost £48.55 for a front and rear set.

Chain Reaction do offer some really good deals from time to time, but the Shimano offerings don't seem to be available for front and rear.
