As the title says. Went for fora quick spin. No assist from the motor when pedaling :( I get full response from the throttle though. Nothing is going right this week!

Is there anything silly I've missed before I give woosh a call?

Right. I've discovered it will assist for about 5 to 10 seconds and then the motor stops. Battery is reading full.

The LED on the motor flashes a bit sporadically during the first few seconds when the motor works. Then just blips on and off relatively quickly when the motor decides it won't run

the LED on the motor shaft is the pedelec sensor. Check that the sensor cable is not pulled. The LED blinks when you pedal. The motor should start after about 5 blinks.
If it does not blink in rythm with your pedalling, then the magnetic disc inside may be pinched by the silver cup.

It's blinking now and the pedals are not moving. Constant blink. I can't see which cable may be the sensor

if the LED blinks when the pedals are not moving, then there may be a poor connection somewhere between the sensor and the controller.

you need to contact support@wooshbikes.co.uk to get the tool to tighten the silver cup. It may be quicker to go see them, they'll give your bike a service.

the silver cup replaces the traditional left bottom bracket cup. Remove the left crank, use a small philips screwdriver to remove the black pedelec sensor, then use the tool (the tool is C shape with two pins that fit into the silver cup) to tighten the cup well, you need to tighten it very well.

possibly not, but you have to tighten the silver cup anyway. May be worth a trip to Southend. Typically, after the first 250-300 miles, everything needs tightening, greasing and also quite a few spokes need tightened up, the spokes and rims have settled by now. While you are there, Andy or Tony can show you how to do all these things, they can replace the pads/blocks for you FOC.

Wish I was closer. 3 hours away! I'm in the west midlands. I may well make a weekend of it if I can't get my pedal assist working. Otherwise perhaps a service from a good bike shop?

perhaps. Still, I'd recommend a trip to the seaside. They are open on Saturdays.

Southend sea front has the longest pier, lots of cheap eats and a 7 mile cycle route. You can leave your car in their car park and your OH borrow a bike from their shop.

that bit is not hard, QR front wheel, remove the stem and saddle if they get in the way.
