Does anybody have a scrap/unwanted Ezeebike battery socket (the part carrying the two plugs that stick up into the battery. I want to make an adapter to make monitoring easier as I experiment with batteries.

Incidently, I have found that if you remove the top couple of inches of the battery slides (on the battery not the bike!) you can easily get the battery in without that horrendous saddle hinge. Saves a lot of weight.
I expect this is common knowledge .

I've used the positive and negative pins removed from a replaceable 13 amp plug for this purpose Malcolm, wiring onto them easy of course.

I've never seen that tip on the eZee battery slide, it's new as far as I know. Not sure it would work for shorter riders with the saddle low on some models though.

P.S. If no-one has an old base socket, you should be able to get it as a new spare from the eZee agents Onbike
.
