I now have the unenviable job of finding a suitable E-bike for a woman friend of mine who is tiny, very light and not too strong, and who is incredibly particular. She's an experienced cyclist but is now getting on a bit. I've found this bike, which seems to be the sort of thing she is looking for given that she already owns a small-wheeled e-bike (Moulton TSR modded).

I'd be grateful for any advice or comments .....Thanks.

How tiny? The Woosh Petite (http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?petite ) says it is suitable for 5'1" and above. 24" wheels, 17" frame. I see the Tredz has 700c wheel and 18" frame, may be a bit big. Clearly a much smarter bike (at twice the price).

I match much of the criteria except for being tiny - to me this bike may feel heavy at 23kg (mine are 19kg and 21kg) and could be on the large side. Also, what is the range of this bike?

I have an Oxygen e-Mate ST with a 50-75 miles range, 26" wheels and 21kg at £1100.

Looks expensive for what it is. It's relatively heavy co pared with others, and 700c wheels are not very friendly for tiny people. Also, crank-drive is over-weight and over-complicated for a tiny light person.

Many thanks for your suggestions and I will explore all of these. It's difficult to choose a bike for another person as preferences will differ with the individual and I will feel responsible if it doesn't work out.
It would be better if she could try out all the bikes but up here in Scotland that is seldom possible.
