Why did you buy an electric bike?

A question I am often asked and its not so easy to answer.. Well today I was testing my new battery up a hill and came across another biker, my age ish, going up a hill that I find particularly challenging on a leg powered bike, in fact I have only done it twice in the last 5 years, and as I always have the camera running the playback answered this question entirely....

When I get asked why, my standard answer is "So I can ride home without having a coronary!"

Due to the heavy "school" traffic I had to stay behind the other cyclist and ride at his speed which was a really slow walking pace, ironically this was really difficult as the bosch lowest gear was stll far too high...
