    Twist, Help with fault condition

Thanks flecc, I have read all your stuff on the old unit and checking the connectors seems a good place to start particularly as there has been a gradual reluctance to select the full power position. I was not able to find a reference to the effect of a displaced sensor board but, am i right in...

    Twist, Help with fault condition

My old Twist has never shown any difference in performance in either eco or full power mode since I acquired it, and so i don't know which mode its stuck in; I suspect its eco. The power output has become very poor of late and this coincides with the red light on the controller not coming on and...

NMHI different pack voltages, charged, off load

I have two 24volt nmhi packs. Pack A say is rather old and was 6000mahr. It still functions at about 4000mahr. Pack B,8000mahr, is just two years old and is still improving. This is the surprise. I charged both packs and allowed them to settle and then measuring the pack voltage and found that...

Back in the swim. Need pointing at Twist info.

Thanks Flecc, its a Panasonic crank motor unit. It's no great problem as it seems quite adequate on Eco. If this is all that fails I will be very happy. Is further failure likely? Out of interest, it had been stored for some time and I thought I had a problem with the Scram p5 gear hub; it was...

Back in the swim. Need pointing at Twist info.

Hello again, Since my Ezeebike died I have been without. But I now have a sound but well used Twist that I have cleaned up. I have at last stopped laughing at the chain guard which I have left it off, probably permanently. I would like to be directed to where all the hard earned maintenance...

    Ezze sprint suddenly half power.

Thanks to all for the help. I decided to remove the motor wheel and all the electrics for further investigation. I found this very difficult and began to realize that these early Sprints were a bit like a car with the bonnet welded shut; The cabling was routed right from the inside of the wheel...

    Ezze sprint suddenly half power.

The motor is smooth and free-wheels perfectly. Checked inside battery gauge, no wires off. Cant see how to disassemble throttle but will delay on that one.

    Ezze sprint suddenly half power.

I have open circuited the brake switches. It also does it with the pedal sensor which I don't normally use. I will check the throttle, should be easily disassembled, unless you think the fact that the fault is still present using the pedal sensor means its something else. As to no load...

    Ezze sprint suddenly half power.

Hi guys, After a couple of delightfully trouble free years my Sprint has gone on to half power. Here are the facts. Battery perfect and charged, green light stays on when on full load. Would normally go to yellow after a short while or heavy load. If I stall or heavily load the motor and open...

    Batteries in panniers

My battery overtook me today, whilst belting down a rough bit of steep. If you have your battery in a pannier don't rely on the little clips that connect it to the pannier frame. It ripped the wires out of the controller but it all survived.
