    Whoosh ?

I purchased a Whoosh Rio, to replace an illegal e bike. The Rio is our 4th ebike. Without a doubt it is the best e bike I have ever bought. I much prefer this Chinese hub machine to the bosch crank motors. Fitted a suspension seat post rack and panniers. It rides as smooth as a gilded lily...

Thanks Damien I did identify it, PS the Rio is superb. My Rio had replaced an illegal 1500 watt bike. You know what the Rio is better, extra power is not always the Best all and end all. I run my Rio at a 18 mph cut off it is all that you need. My old bike was 48v and 29 mph. I much prefer the...

    Volt Metro Folding ebike

I did try the volt and found it very good, but we needed two and the Kudos is half the price. I have the suntour seat post fitted to mynew Whoosh Rio MTB, it is a Revelation. The volt has a very similar motor to the kudos and the Rio Bafang geared motor, steep hills will always need a pedal...

    Kudos Secret vs Kudos K16

On further study of my secret taking the battery out and putting it in my rucksack does make a difference to the weight and may just tip the scales. Remember the all up weight of the secret includes the stdfit rack and mud guards add these to a k16 and the difference is very small.

    Kudos Secret vs Kudos K16

I did look at the K16 when buying the secret, I did not like the front wheel drive or the 16 inch wheels as per a brompton ( I rode an american imported bmx in the 60's with 20 inch wheels) I feel 20 inch wheels give you a better pothole experience although it still hurts. I would find the...

    Kudos Secret vs Kudos K16

I own two kudos secrets, one is my wife's. They are 2017 versions with lights mudguards a rack and in my case full panniers. They are both fitted with a Bafang SWX02 motor. I have just ordered A woosh Rio MTB on the strength of the superb hub motor (replacing my Xipi MTB daily ride). We use...

    Wet weather gear.

This Chap has it covered Jon;) Seriously when it is cold and wet, without some warm dry clothes and somewhere to change, it gets to be an issue. Nothing I have ever bought has kept me 100 % dry in torrential rain. If you have to wear a suit at work and no whwre to change you are on a hiding...
