you say the pedal came loose ? does it have a pedal sensor if so it may have dislodged the sensor and not sending any signal.

its probably either the throttle shorting eg. broken wire or the controller . try disconnecting the throttle first.

a pic would help but as far as I know all powabyke motors are brushed 36v 250w and plain aluminum with no distinguishing marks

there are some bicycle umbrella clamps on ebay that might suit.

dont push 48v through the motor the wiring cant handle it. i know because ive tried it, it did last for a few months but eventually melted the solder in the motor. and yes they are simple brushed motor.getting a lithium will make the bike lighter so hopfully a little easier to peddle.the problem...
