I’ve had better results setting the ISO max to 800, low sharpness, and 24fps. Also used spot metering and angled the camera slightly down to avoid blinding headlights.
I’ve had the best luck setting the GoPro 7 Hero Black to 2.7K 30fps with low sharpness, flat color, and ISO maxed at 1600 for low light. It helps keep noise down without making things too dark. For night rides, I mount front and rear lights angled slightly away from the lens to avoid glare. I also use a side cam to (link removed by admin) with better detail on number plates.
Are you an AI or spammer? There's a link to a product in one of your posts - not a GoPro Hero 7 Black, and no mention of shutter speed. Show us examples. Glad something's working for you, whatever you are.

saw this and thought it was fitting here..
What qualifies as "Sexy time" for that fatso? Activating a chocolate fountain? Crap at identifying plates in low light, what a surprise. A higher shutter speed would have helped there, for less blur for moving plates, but sadly security cameras can't have their shutter speeds adjusted (generally) - a Raspberry Pi with Pi Cam would have been a better choice. AI home automation reminds me of Demon Seed:
