Had this Freego 2014 Folding bike delivered(See 1 Pic)......the Front light was loose..so not sure what I did but tied myself in a right mess.see Pics 2 & 3........Tried turning Handlebars but it's not working....HELP
What exactly is the problem you want to solve? What's not working?

I'm guessing the cabling has become tangled around the folding handlebar mechanism. Picture 1 looks different to 2 and 3.

Yes, and I don't know how it happened........or how to undo it.........I took it for a short dive.all Ok.....then stored in shed.....took it out to take it for a service....saw front light was loose..so fixed it with a bolt....then found all my cables were tangled......

Is there a quick release that allows you to pull the entire stem out?
If so release, pull out, untangle, replace stem and lock in place.

One would say the solution isn't rocket science.

To turn the handlebar I would have to remove a bolt on the Cablebox, and loosen 2 Alan screws. I did none of this at the start. I'm completly puzzled how I got into this mess. You cannot pull handlebar out as Cables wont' let you

The only thing I did was fix the Front light to its holder.....it was hanging loose.......If I unhook it again.....I'm still left with the problem.......I just can't explain it....
.Later I'll try turning the handlebars....

Never mind. Just unfix it to see what happens.

That might explain what has actually happened to cause your problem.

Philosophy won't fix it!

No you wouldn't, there is nothing stopping you turning the handlebars and front wheel.

has the front wheel been twisted around 360 degrees in err perhaps, shoving into a cluttered shed could force a mud guard under a cross beam facilitating the twist?

try rotating the front bars/wheel assembly in the direction that reduces tangle and give it a modicum of oomph if a mudguard presents a problem ;)

So, I loosened the Handlebars and turn them so everything was looking right and lo and behold.........the Front wheel had locked.........and I could not get the Handlebars tightened........a simple job.......but I couldn't get it....Folded bike ...into the car and off to the Bike Repair shop. Left it with him .......2 hours later it was ready..............when I collected it....I had forgotten my Hearing aids...so have no idea what he said....but everything looks in order........at last....
