Oh and you can turn off the "smart" function and just use it as a very bright front light.

Hopefully as most of the riding on the Metro is in the city there shouldn't be anyone riding round with full beam on (mind you it is Bradford). It was very bright on the darker sections and I've got other lights as marker lights. For the money and the fact it's rechargeable not bad for a tenner.

I keep a couple of zip lock bags and a velcro tie in my bag for very heavy downpours, so I can cover up the display if it's particularly wet.

Its a totally new mid drive to the UK as well. I'll review it when I've done. Just to keep you guessing.

I rebuilt my A2B battery with samsung cells from Turmich and its great. Are you going to use the battery on another A2B bike?

Never did build the torque sensor, but am working on a clearer to read dashboard using some cool display technology from 4D systems. The current OLED display is unreadable in sunlight, so i'm prototyping something else. here's a quick demo of day/night mode and the speedo.
