Advice on ebike conversion kit for 30mile commute

The motor a bbshd will do it without a doubt ,but the biggest problem I see is the battery size capacity vs duration /reliability 25amps constant for one hour plus = dead cells quickly . A life of probably months not years on a cheap battery even with top grade cells 10+ charges a week and...

Is it possible to turn off the Torque Sensor with mid-drive motors?

If you want to convert a bike any bbs01 mid drive will give power from a standing start throttle only without the need to pedal at all with the added bonus of easy adjustment via the display or laptop set up once to your personal needs / taste The tsdz2 non uk spec will also pull away from a...

The 48v is the first mid drive that performs as I wanted out of the box:D and the throttle is not required after a bafang the tsdz2 is a less frantic ride, the power delivery is progressive and not at all harsh I find I forget it is an electric bike

    TSDZ2 36 V AND 48V NIGHT AND DAY

A nasty rumour is they make only one version of the controller and load different firmware to suit each model it would be great if it turned out to be true :) but I am not going try to overvolt looking into the mods right up to 52v but a change of display seems to be a requirement if you want...
