    Powabyke help

Hi Carl, they are 3 x 12v 15amp batteries that we use. A complete set can be purchased through a local dealer (and fitted) for a cost of circa £130. As a couple of members have stated though you can pick up batteries for less via ebay etc but do be warned that they may not last long. Drop me...

Anybody Got One Of These Bikes?

They are lovely machines, I have been lucky enough to ride on several times at events etc. The power is fantastic yet without all the noise you get from usual motorbikes. The regen braking system too is fantastic, if used correctly you really don't need to use the brakes at all as the regen...

Have I brought a load of rubbish?

The Infineon Bike has been around for several years, I haven't seen one for about 5 years though. It may be worth seeing if Paul at Mitchell Cycles can have a look at it for you. They are on Shrivenham Road just off the famous Magic Roundabout. 01793 523306. He is very knowledgeable on electric...

    Powabyke X or Infineum?

Hi TwistNgo, it will simply be a locking bolt that stops the battery from being slid out of the brackets. It's a very basic lock but will make removing it that much harder. We have just sold out but have another container due around the 10-14th July. These will all be 1 revolution starts...

    Powabyke X or Infineum?

Hi Rad, yes, you would have pure power in both key positions. However you can still pedal as much or as little as you like. The power would purely be controlled by the twist grip. Regards FrankC

    Powabyke X or Infineum?

Hi Patrick, contact your local dealer and just ask for a 3.3 disabler and adaptor for your XByke and they can order one for you. SRP is £19.99 plus fitting which is 10 minutes work. Regards Frank

    Powabyke X or Infineum?

We hope to have a solution which will be retro fittable available within the next 6-8 weeks which will lock the battery on. I will post details on the forum when that is available. Regards FrankC Powabyke Ltd

    Powabyke X or Infineum?

Just to add, all Powabykes can have their sensor over ridden by adding what we call a disabler. This will turn the bike to a twist and go bike meaning you can do away with the bottom bracket sensor. Regards FrankC

    Powabyke X or Infineum?

Hi TwistNgo, the 1st one would have been and early version, it was only in April that they changed to 1 revolution from the 4 revs. Battery not locking in is something we are working on, yes it was something we didn't think would be that important when designing the bike! How wrong we were...

    Powabyke X or Infineum?

You need to try both before deciding. For your information the Powabyke is no longer a 3 pedal revolution before the motor cuts in, its back to the 1 revolution. The Powabyke also has a twist throttle, not a thumb shift. Its very similar to how a twist grip gear shift works. Regards...
