... and of course at junctions always try and make eye contact with the driver.

    A very sad tale

The main problem is with young (then everyone is to me) riders who have no lights or hi-vis at dusk or early when it is misty. The trouble is that they are of an age which doesn't yet drive a car and don't realize that from in a car the driver's visibility is much less than theirs.

    Wisper 905se sport.......Brakes

I was keen on the BB7 untill I read a review from someone who gave them a 5 star rating but said: "Negatives would be the disk rotor being warped slightly from the box ... Nothing which can't be fixed by using a smooth spanner to carefully bend the disk straight."

44 mile round trip, couple of hills - possible?

It shouldn't be a problem IF you can re-charge whilst you are there, otherwise you are getting close to the limit ~ especially if you have a bad headwind.

    new aliens

Much as I would like the 15mph raised to 25 mph I would be the first to achnowledge that the brakes on most 'heavy' ebikes are not really up to the task at that speed in heavy traffic ~ hence the need for a seperate class of vehicle with all the red tape and nausea that implies.

    Whisper Grips

I find a simpler solution is to wear slightly padded gloves, which have the same affect as a larger diameter grip ~ they also damp out some of the vibration.

    Xtracycle

Personally I think I would rather go for the cheaper option of a trailer given that you probably only want the load carrying capability occassionaly.

Wasn't there a similiar 'ordinary' plastic cycle in the 70s with plastic wheels which looked like a reject from action man?

Funnily enough my first puncture on my wisper last week was a puncture at the valve root.

    Speeding

You could use the same argument, re speedos, about cyclists exceeding any other limit 20mph / 30mph etc.

Just out of the Box: Proconnects 2009.

No it covers it away from home as well, as long as it is locked.

The theft aspect of insurance is usually best covered by adding it to the household insurance, I covered the Wisper for £5/year.

    New Wisper 905 SE Sport

Generally round town I reckon to get 25miles before the green light on the handlebar goes out under no load. I usually charge after 25 miles but while conditioning I had 40 miles a couple of times and I think the battery was pretty low at that point.

    Regulation in EU countries

The problem from the prosecution point of view would be proving that their lab. test was in fact valid. I think it is fair to say that an 'expert witness' would have great fun for the defence.

    Wipser 905SE Owner Review

Just received and fitted my new mudguards from Norman, excellent. I personally think they are more suitable for the bike than the sports ones, but everyone to their own. They fitted without problems, once i made things easier for myself by deflating the rear tyre to give myself room to work ~...
