I've had the Kudos tourer for just over a week and today was the first chance I've had to try it out. I did 18 miles up steep hills and down steep hills. Where I live they are ALL steep hills. I may put a proper review in the review section later. It seems to have only used 1 bar of the battery...

I have a Kudos tourer and after reading this post I went out and took my front tyre and tube off. I took it off and replaced it in about 5 minutes, which worried me. :) Mine has rim tape. My rear wheel has what appears to be a joint/plug in the motor cable about 6" from the wheel. It looks like...

I'm surprised anyone would want to wear the battery on their back, especially off road. It looks like it could snap your spine in an accident. Where it is on the frame is OK. Not everyone will like it but not everyone likes everything.

For me, the 17" frame. It would look tiny with me on it.

Are you saying that someone 5'8" should have a 33" inside leg? I really doubt that.

If he's riding a 52cm framed bike he doesn't have short legs. I have a 32" inside leg and I'm looking for a 21" frame. That's been the size of frame I've used on bikes since I grew up.

It says the frame size is 17". Seems a bit on the small side, or have I read it wrong?

I haven't really looked at any others. A man at work turned up on a GSII and it looked the business. :) I think a 21" frame is the size I fancy, I had a 21" framed bike 30 years ago and I don't think I'm any smaller these days.

OK getting back on topic. I don't care if someone rides an Aurora and I don'tcare if it's illegal. :) Has anyone got any experience of the Typhoon? Is it as good as the GSII?

The Aurora is also illegal. I just fancied staying legal. I would, of course, love an Aurora. I just want to stay legal though.

I wanted to buy an Alien Gents special II but you can't get them anymore. Alien say it has been replaced by the Typhoon. Does anyone have any experience of this bike? Does it come in 21" frame size? Jim
