Install hitch for bike trailer on 12 mm axle

Hi, from your description and drawings I'd say drilling the hole would be a mistake as it wouldn't locate on the axle flats however opening the hole to fit the axle should take no more than ten minutes with a round file. I know you say you have no tools but if you google 'mens sheds' and try...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

How do you get to see a doctor then? I've heard of them but never managed to get to see one....

Well if I had to go up against an adversary I'd rather go up against one that did it that way. Anyway, I suspect neither of us really need be concerned about that kind of attack.

You worry unduly, no one would go to the trouble of doing this in hardware..

The thing is the information is out there and anyone who blows dust out of a brake drum (or clutch housing) isn't able to say they don't know its wrong. Don't care maybe and not worried about potential prosecution as they are unlikely to be found out... (edit) so I agree, my post was incorrect...

Yes its interesting how things work out, I recall drilling locomotive roofs and spitting the dust out of my mouth.. asbestos insulation. I also remember it was acceptable practice to use CTC to wash tar residue of our hands after jointing cables. A relative has just had his lung lining removed...

Once I've done with mine it won't be much use to anyone, might pay for a top up on my PAYG 5g phone :-)

Do you believe that any particular manufacturer of such network equipment is more vulnerable to attack than any other?

There is already an element of that and manufacturers regularly show how they meet the international standards but seriously .. lets make everything open source? well it would help us speed up development of the Brexit 5g network...

It almost is ..... Obviously I’m not talking about the embedded control and signalling functions which frankly only the manufacturer should have control over, but the bit that applications talk to is pretty much open source. Nokia are pushing their API , and whilst I’m sure non-disclosure...

No I disagree, I think OG is probably onto something here, I think taking back control of our borders ... sorry firewalls, is a good idea and he should contact Nigel and get him to set up the Brexit 5G party :-) On a more serious note this time last year ( or year before, can’t be bothered...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Americans are concerned, their reasons for being concerned are probably debatable. Securing any data network is a challenge and in my own personal opinion the risk includes existing infrastructure that was developed before we suddenly became enlightened. However the risk is more related to...

You need to think outside of the concept of public access subscriber usage, that type of use, albeit important is just a part of the revenue and plan for the business. In terms of offsite processing, that is how it is. For right or wrong, very few places that finally assemble a product...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

It’s easy, we need to automate production and distribution of everything and make things cheaper so that everyone can buy anything and everything. Once everyone has got everything we can just invent new things for everyone to buy. The only flaw i can see in this is where will the money come...

You can’t really compare 5G and WiFi (6 to be fair) with what you might consider today’s local Wi-Fi, your current thinking about data cost just doesn’t apply, on site computering is minimal so your shipping your data to cloud-based service anyway so the cost of transportation of that data is...

    Update on N.I. e-bike regs.

For sure, there are many days of associating themselves with the comments made and thanking each other for raising the matter... and if all else fails they can always accept and understand the strength of feelings...... before eventually getting on with it :)

Some of us go back to Wilson and beyond (just) but my experience of all governments is largely similar. Personally I don’t think any government is particularly to blame for NHS performance or indeed public service in general. Demand is the issue and unfortunately artificially raised...

Hang on I never mentioned spending levels. Perhaps I didn’t explain myself properly. My point was and remains, if you go out to bat with an important policy in your manifesto, and you do this election after election yet choose to do nothing when you have had the opportunity to do so (...

government bashing is popular because the majority of voters did not vote for this government, posters on this thread reflects nearly accurately national average. Well if you say so.. funny but it rarely changes.. Yeah, but if you lead your election campaign along the lines of “something...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

All political parties do things that suit their aims rather than suit society in general. It’s unfair to say that XXX party should have done something when in fact all governments have opportunities to do things but choose not to. There are always inconsistencies in words versus actions and...
