    Traction problem with Big Bear

Trade in means losing a lot of money and i've only got 220 miles on the clock due to not riding it much with this traction problem. I've also fitted a lot of extras so my BB is a deluxe version. I do like the idea of fitting that new wheel and motor. Would it easily fit? I could do the...

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Just normal road use. The new deep tread is an improvement on the original fitted tyre, but not much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Traction problem with Big Bear

I have fitted a new front rack and added weight. Fitted a new front 'deep tread' knobbly tyre. Let air out of the tyre down to 10psi. I only use power level-1 and yet i still cannot get good traction on hills in dry conditions. Riding in damp conditions is a no go. Fitting the motor into the...

    Indicators

I agree. I pre-ordered mine and waited 7 months, when they then started production. Designed in UK, very high quality. A must have for the coming darker days and nights. Very bright, easily seen front and behind. Easy to fit and use. Batteries last for ages.

Will do that. That should keep the water out!

    Woosh Big Bear

One thing that i've noticed. The same thing was done on my Zephyr and caused a problem. For some reason, i can't think why, part of the derailleur cable outer is left off, leaving the inner cable exposed? On my Zephyr-CDN the same thing was done on the back brake cable. Within a short while...

    Woosh Big Bear

The Woosh website states that the Big Bear comes with rear rim brakes. I was very pleased to find that mine came with a rear disc brake. The website also gives the length of the bike as 195cm. I made my bike shed longer before ordering the bike. I need not have done this because the length is...

    Woosh Big Bear

Thank you Wingreen. After 45 years of motoring i have now given up the car. If i can't get there on my Big Bear, i don't go there [emoji3][emoji106] PS. i have taken out Breakdown Cover for the BB. Only £15 a year. I wouldn't be able to push it home or put it in a taxi. Sent from my iPhone...

    Woosh Big Bear

I bought my first electric bike in 2014. A Woosh Zephyr-CDN. I was so impressed and pleased with the Zephyr that i have now bought a second Woosh bike, a Big Bear. Once again i am very impressed. The build and quality is excellent. The welds are very neat. It looks strong and it certainly is. It...

From Zephyr to Big Bear maybe?

The tech team at Woosh did not get back to me as they said they would. It looks like putting the motor into the back wheel is a no go. I think it would spoil the look of the Big Bear if it was done anyway! Meanwhile, i have fitted new 'swept back' handlebars for a better upright seating position...

From Zephyr to Big Bear maybe?

I have had a response mail from Woosh. It's looking promising. They have suggested putting the motor into the back wheel. That would be perfect! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

From Zephyr to Big Bear maybe?

In my case, leaning forward does not help one bit.. If i was 16 stone plus and had a good back for leaning forward then it probably would helo. As it is, i am now the local subject of ridicule. The street corner youths can be heard jeering " Look at that old grandad burning rubber!" Sent from...

From Zephyr to Big Bear maybe?

Five days now. Love the bike. Love the style. Love the build. But, nothing is any good if it don't work. I can jump on my Zephyr CDN, twist and go forward no problem. With the Big Bear, no matter how low the power setting or throttle movement, the front wheel will just not grip the road, it just...
