has d8veh left this time for good?

Your link shows that this is a Facebook Page not a Group. There is a big difference. Groups allow members to post and interact. Pages content is controlled by one person, the admin, and are only best suited for promotion of a single brand / product. I don’t like Pages. The posts are there one...

Setting up a Facebook pedelec group is not for me.I don’t have sufficient knowledge of electric bicycles. It would work well though. Bike pics taken in an area of outstanding natural beauty are great. I post mine on Instagram. I have created several successful Facebook groups. North Devon...

I agree with this. Facebook jealousy is a horrible thing. So called friends sometimes become unfriended due to jealousy. Old friends reunited aren’t how they seemed to once be. You see the real person on FB. You see their likes, dislikes and personality and then you realise that you have...

Maybe some members may be interested in my thoughts on my new addition to my ebike collection. I am getting Xited. I have ordered a Kwikfold Xite 3. How will it perform in a hilly rural location with some rather uneven road surfaces. I will tell you. It should be here by now but it seems that...

This is why i would like to see this site as a Facebook Group. A place where you can freely edit and delete. And of course, in most cases, you can actually see the poster rather than some strange i.d’s and profile pics.

Well i have only just learned how to delete a post i made in error. I had to report the post and wait a day or so for an admin to carry out my request. Can this be right? As for deleting my account, how does one go about that?

    Traction problem with Big Bear

When the battery is in place and the bike is on it’s centre stand, the weight is exactly the same front and rear. It could be used as a set of scales. I don’t intend lifting it. I have a brand new ‘second bike’ ordered and on the way. Should be here Monday. A bike that i can easily fold, lift...

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Yes, the switch is rather on the big side. It was the smallest suitable switch i could find. It’s a 9-pin generator changeover switch. The only suitable waterproof housing box makes it look even bigger. It does arouse curiosity. Many people do ask “what make bike is it?”.

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Six months on and i can report that my Big Bear rides beautifully. Road legal dual motors. Anyone that is thinking of doing the same will not be disappointed with the results.

Prudential. I chose £100 excess which made the additional premium on my contents insurance very reasonable. Includes public liability.

    Front or rear hub motor?

Some dealers will not agree with me for sure. Fitting a motor into the front wheel is the easiest, cheapest and worst place to put the motor. It’s ok i suppose for the low powered 24v type bikes. Poweful motors in front wheels are absolutely dangerous and should not be allowed.

    Front or rear hub motor?

I have a very nice front wheel drive bike with great hill climbing power. I have now fitted a rear wheel motor and the difference in ride and handling is amazing. Rear wheel drive every time for bikes with powerful motors.

Any thoughts on Autofolder Airwheels R6

Thanks but Dorset is a very long way from me. I would suggest you look at Barnstaple. Ebikes are starting to take off down here. Particularly as we are on the Tarka Trail.
