Cheap electric folder. Help me choose x

My brother is 5’1” and lives in a first floor flat to which he has to carry up a bike. He bought a Byocycles and was very happy with it. I had a go on it. I thought it was going to be hard going as i’m used to my Big Bear. It was fantastic. Lovely to ride and it flew up hills. My brother has now...

    Big Bear cubs

I just cannot find anything else i can alter on my Big Bear. It’s perfection and i’m bored. So, for just £100 i have bought two baby bikes to play around with. A real bargain i reckon. A Byocycles with 2 batteries. One hardly used and one brand new. I just jumped on this bike and away i went. No...

    Charging a Coyote Connect battery

I have myself today also acquired a Coyote Connect in the exact same condition. I too was hoping to find a way of charging it once to see if all works before spending out.

    Elastomer steering damper

Note: There are two types of this Hebie elastomer damper. One of them includes an expansion adaptor that fits into the forks tube. This adaptor is necessary for suspension forks. I was not aware of this and bought the type without adaptor. It is not available separately and that’s the reason...

    Pannier bags for Big Bear

I reckon they will look even better when they are well weathered.

    Elastomer steering damper

Don’t you just hate it when you park up your bike and the front wheel swings around causing your bike to crash to the ground. I’ve been dithering for some some time about fitting one of these elastomer dampers. It’s a newer version of the old spring type which i’ve been told creak a lot. Some...

    Pannier bags for Big Bear

Carrying capacity. They will hold 8 toilet rolls. 4 each side. They have got inside flaps and a quick and easy fastener.

    Pannier bags for Big Bear

Strong. Slip a cable tie through it and around the rack and bags aren’t going anywhere. No slap. Much better than bicycle bags with velcro straps. They make a right noise every time you go over a bump.

    Pannier bags for Big Bear

They really are such good bags. They fit and look great on bicycles. They cannot be found on bicycle bags search, only on motorcycle bags search. If they just added the word bicycle to the title they would sell like crazy. Maybe someone should buy a load of them for resell. A right money maker...

    Pannier bags for Big Bear

Looks good. Not just hanging there all crumpled up like the previous three sets of bicycle type that i bought.

    Pannier bags for Big Bear

Yes, tbe bicycle types i’ve tried are just too thin and just hang there. These motorcycle type are much better. If they’re good enough for a Harley. This is the Ebay link to them. They look more like £100 rather than the £14.99 price...

    Pannier bags for Big Bear

I’ve been looking ages for the right pannier bags for my Big Bear. I have tried three sets so far. They just didn’t look right to me. I cut them all about but if it don’t look right it’s not right. So i then searched motorcycle bags and found these. I think they look great. They are thick and...

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Junction box fitted to back end. Tried and tested. It works really great. I can easily toggle between motors without moving hands off handlebars. I much prefer the ride using the new rear motor. Whenever it starts to labour a bit i just switch over to front BPM motor and then back again. Second...

    Traction problem with Big Bear

A simple tip for those that do their own maintenance. Replace your side stand with an adjustable centre stand. I have found it great for doing my motors. I have also fitted a chain slap guide but it’s not necessary to do so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Progress so far with dual switching. Does anyone see a problem with running a cable from the battery / controller to the handbars and then back to the motors? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
