non-folder to fit in the boot?

Ally MTB conversion will be well under that with the battery and front wheel removed. Get a large (19"+) frame aluminium MTB with disc brakes second hand. Go cheap for your first one so you don't panic about filing the dropouts, spreading the stays and drilling the frame for rivnuts. Will come...

Help! Where can I get a good ebike battery UK

If your controller trips the BMS, could always turn down the amps a couple? Wouldn't do it any harm would it? My BMS amp cut off is 10% above controllers continuous rating and it's never tripped.

Help! Where can I get a good ebike battery UK

From their descriptions and prices, this seems like a good battery builder for higher power stuff.

    Reduced range in the cold

I don't doubt your research. I am looking forward to warmer weather but the wind that comes with it this time of year is even worse for efficiency. Would be worth it if spending many months in sub-zero. Or if there was some easy way to fit. But kneeling down, wrapping and unwrapping the...

    Reduced range in the cold

The cold air makes me sweat less for the same effort is what I meant.

    Reduced range in the cold

Personally, it allows me to pedal harder because my limiting factor is how sweaty I am on arrival.

    Reduced range in the cold

After a few more days commuting, it is noticeable how much harder the cold is on the battery. I have to kick it down a few gears and pootle along to keep enough charge to make it home. Will be interesting next week when the temperature increases by 15c over three days! Forecast says Friday...

non-folder to fit in the boot?

Firstly, as it is one size (and doesn't say what size that is), you need to check if the battery will fit in the triangle and if the bike fits you. It's a cheap bike which means you will likely need to do some upgrades to it. Swap brakes for hydraulic, add mudguards, potentially swap shifter for...

    For Sale Bargains

I have bought one anyway. From my research it is very much not breathable, which makes it more likely to be waterproof in my mind. Hopefully, with airflow it will remove moisture compared to those that bought for work on a building site. I will have to try not to sweat too much.

Would you recommend this as truly waterproof? Everything I have ends up leaving my arms and back wet in a heavy downpour.

More "e-bike" terminology misuse by the BBC

I agree with the legal terminology. The public, including anecdotally, associate "e-bike" with a Bosch powered MTB with pedals that costs a few grand. So it doesn't help when the media constantly describe motorcycles that have been crashed and caused damage and injury as "e-bikes". A common...

More "e-bike" terminology misuse by the BBC

I've lost the sources saying e-motorcycle. Perhaps they've changed their mind too. Can you turn off sur-ron lights? I may have jumped the gun.

non-folder to fit in the boot?

As a quick reply, mainly traction and weight distribution.

non-folder to fit in the boot?

Yes this is the case assuming no torque arms. And a quick google suggests you won't need them with 250w but make sure you do the nuts up tight. To me, it didn't sound like he would be doing hardcore DH MTB so going along a muddy or gravelly path with 250w won't make much difference front or rear.
