    Fancy this kit?

I am actually very glad of those ads. It was almost three years ago that I came across it when I was looking for some kind of assist to help me commute by bike every day to work. I quickly realised that whilst fun, I would soon be pulled over and then I happened upon electric bike kits, this...

Try to build my first ebike

An advantage of the cylindrical 2.3Ah A123 cells is they can manage sustained 69A and peak 138A :) Bit over kill for me in that I rarely draw more than 5 or 6A with momentarily peaks of 10-15A lol. PS My non BMS 12s1p is just coming up to 3 years old, used pretty much daily with 4500 miles on...

    Cateye computer Enduro 8

I have used three of these and quite like them (they have a nice thick robust wire). As stated its all in the instructions, though I would say its not that easy to understand how to set the ODO even from the instructions. Regards Jerry

    e-crazyman 36V 350W controller - as new

e-crazyman 36V 350W "sensor" NOT sensorless that I purchased in error instead of the sensorless. Its programmable, you have to open it to do that attaching programmable lead (not supplied). I know it can be programmed because I have done it on the other sensorless one I have. It has throttle...

Lyen Mini Monster sensorless controller for sale

Cracking deal and I missed it :( I have a similar spare e-crazyman version (36V 350W) but "sensor" NOT sensorless that I purchased in error instead of the sensorless one if any one is interested. Sorry to piggy back on this for sale item. Its programmable, you have to open it to do that...

That looks like my computer room at work. How did you get through the card accessed door to take the photo ? Regards Jerry

    The flatmate compliant charger

Frank whilst I appreciate the reasoning behind your comment, you might also argue that by posting this we have been able to make cwah aware of the potential dangers which he would have continued to over look had he not ? Simply banning such posts and users I think would be more irresponsible...

    The flatmate compliant charger

Located conveniently for possible fires :) Re electric shock, I think the voltage in the exposed part is quite low given that cwah is putting it through a step down 20v power supply first ? I am sure the landlord would have a fit if he saw it though. As stated some kind of enclosed container...

Agree with most of the comments here, but it is an inspirational project all the same. The final bike design actually does not look too bad :) Thanks for sharing. Regards Jerry

Neptune would still love to see a pic. Other Moulton fans may also be interest especially if the hinge was added. Jerry

    Ebrompton gear ratios

I find anything less than a 54T main and 12T rear i.e. 74" gear on my two speed Brompton too low at full assist speed. That is the highest you can take a two speed Brompton up to with OEM parts. With my after fit S2C or my preferred SRAM Automatix hubs I can get this up to 76". I rarely...

    Moulton Bike Tyres

If you do get pics then post them on the folding bike forum as someone will know what it is. As you say not having rear suspension looks more likely. Probably an 80s/90s bike/not a Moulton model. Any 14/16" Moulton would be at least 40 years old the last of these models being made 1969/70...
