Does anyone have a source for a panasonic motor unit, bike is a hybrid Agattu/pro connect the original motor was 2008, replaced in 2010 thats how I ended up with a hybrid.
I am using it with a conventional controller, but it's noisy, would prefer not to use everyone's favourite supplier.
Pretty sure it was Cycleeze that bought one from somewhere, any pointers, suggestions would be welcome.

Regards
Des

The Raleigh e-bikes are now hub motor, but until recently used the Panasonic units since they were almost identical to the Kalkhoffs, both from the same factory in Germany. Therefore Raleigh e-bikes UK might be able to supply a spare unit. Here's the contact page

Spencer-Ivy in London also sell the Agattu/Pro Connect clones under their own name and offer support. Here's their contact page

Hi Des,

The motor that I got last year to replace a faulty one was secondhand. I think 50cycles quoted £500 for a new one at the time.

About three years ago a new Panasonic unit was €500 in mainland Europe, so at least £500 in the UK today is to be expected, given the way all e-bike stuff has increased in price over the last couple of years.
