My bbs02 LCD odometer reset its total mileage after 1600 miles without reason! Its now got another 3500 miles on .

I had a similar creaking on my BBS02 and regreasing the final drive sprocket silenced it.

Actually had some nice weather and free time last week so managed a decent 220 miles over 3 days.

Its a mid drive (possibly a Bafang) so its got gears for the hills. I dont see the point of that bit of streamlining if its going to have a 17 stone porker sat on top of it (in my case). Range is greatly exaggerated as usual!

3900 miles on my BBS02 and it has never been touched and still as sweet as when it was brand new. I do quite a bit of offroading including a couple of fords that come over the top of the motor and it takes it all in its stride. With the lower power of the BBS01 I would expect it to be even more...

It can be a bit addictive.... I started with 10Ah,then 16Ah,32Ah and now I run up to 48Ah which gives me up to 150 miles of easy riding or 100 miles flogging my BBS02 at up to almost 1400W..... Of course you do need somewhere to mount them all.

As the motor and your rear wheel both contain freewheels the only difference in pedalling this compared to a standard bike is the difference in weight and wind resistance.. Unlike my 1000W front hub DD which is like riding while holding the front brake on !!!!

I had this error once after my bike slid down a wall.. Turned out the throttle had moved slightly towards the gear lever and was stopping the throttle returning completely....

\if buying abroad remember to factor in customs charges. I recently bought a Cycle Analyst from Canada for £115 and was then hit with £28 customs charges(which I expected luckily).

Mine are the same and they get oiled monthly. I am going to visit my local lawnmower man as I think he may have something similar around.

My Cannondale was only £390 but by the time I got the bbs02 ,multistars,chargers etc it came to over £2000……!

I think so as you can't overheat it no matter how hard you try.

The BBS03 is actually made in 6 different widths!

Up till now if you wanted to alter the settings on your BBS02 (or BBSHD) you had to get a cable and laptop along with software but not any more. Dillenger have introduced a self contained programming box called the Switcheroonie and they recently sent me one to try out. Its a great bit of kit...

Might be simpler to put your motor onto a ready made 10 or 11 speed bike. Plenty of people on ES use them without problems and as long as you dont crunch the gears I am sure it will be ok.
