OK so the idea of streamlining has crossed my mind. Weight? It has to be a monocoque structure and weigh as much as a bike frame would. It isn't as ugly as it could have been but where do I tuck my knees in downhill?

Regenerative braking only works in mountainous regions for making electricity it is handy for saving brake pads though. Which if the cx does make the bike slippery downhill may come in useful. I use air brakes, when things start moving by too quickly I sit up and the bike slows to 45 kmh or thereabouts.

If I wanted a streamlined bike I would save my pennies for a vélomobile.

Its a mid drive (possibly a Bafang) so its got gears for the hills.
I dont see the point of that bit of streamlining if its going to have a 17 stone porker sat on top of it (in my case).
Range is greatly exaggerated as usual!
