If you join my Electric bike club on Strava you will find all my rides and those from 76 other members. I will put a link on when I get on my laptop. I am currently converting a Marin Muirwoods with a BBSHD and 64Ah of batteries so I expect my trip distances to reach over 100 miles a go this year.

62.4Mph down a 20% hill with crappy Promax Decipher brakes. Luckily there is a 23% uphill at the end to slow me down.

BBSHD is 160Nm and I notice no difference on my drivetrain compared to the BBS02 which only has 80Nm. I get almost 1600W with a fully charged battery

I don't have that problem as my bike does 34 Mph on the flat and I have had 60.4 Mph downhill. Kmh would probably frighten me.

I use 12S 44.4v on my BBS02 as it gets too hot to touch when worked hard with 14S. My BBSHD runs happily on 14S even pushed flat out at 58.8V hot off the charger up the 20% hill outside my house.

He was never going to get far with all that police tape in the way.

Move the assist level to 0 before stopping and it won't take off without you. My problem was when I started pushing the bike and never noticed that the pedals were turning and it took off! Luckily have a kill switch fitted

If you get a BBSHD dont worry about wether the BB is 68mm or 73mm as the 68mm BBSHD will fit both unlike the BBS02 which you have to leave the locknut off on the 73mm BB. Also,dont get a 73mm BBSHD as that will NOT fit a 68mm BB.o_O

I have 46T-11T on mine so feet are just a blur. This was my fastest top speed.

64 Mph is my fastest speed(down a very long steep hill) and to be honest I think that's quite fast enough on knobbly tyres ! Buying a skinny tyred hybrid bike next month (Marin Muirwoods 29er) so might get a bit more speed out of that.

Had a problem with my DCP14 today. Travelling down a hill at 51.9 Mph when the display suddenly dropped to 21 then back up. It did this twice and I guess it may be that the sensor was getting confused with the speed the magnet was flashing past. Also Strava recorded the speed at over 59Mph but I...

My BBSHD has a 46T-11T gearing on a 29" wheel and top speed is 34Mph and thats assuming the winds not blowing.

Stick to a 48V battery and there is less chance of overheating. I tried my BBS02 on a 14S battery and at the top of the hill outside my house the motor was so hot |\\\i could smell it and it was too hot to touch. Luckily it was a short hill and did no harm as I have done over 1000 trouble free...

No difference at all on my BBSHD or the BBS02.
