Can I charge my Lipos with this?

Will this do to charge my 12s4p Multistar 16Ah batteries(10C rated)? http://www.meanwell.com/search/RSP-320/RSP-320-spec.pdf On Ebay here...

Probably yet another battery thread Q?. To bore you :)

I use Multistar 10C batteries on my BBS02.750W,25A and although they are only 10C they work perfectly so 20C is more than enough for you. I charge mine with 2 chargers,a £25 Accucel6 and a £14 ImaxB6. I always put the Imax charged battery on the Accucel when its charged just to double check it...

Easiest way find percentage of a hill?

Nope http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutchkin The mutchkin (Scottish Gaelic: mùisgein) was a Scottish unit of measurement of liquids that was in use from at least 1661, (possibly 15th century), until the late 19th century. The word was derived from mutse - a mid 15th-century Dutch measure of beer...

Easiest way find percentage of a hill?

You are confusing liquid and dry measures. Pecks and Bushels are dry measures(volume) Of course if you are Scottish its 4 gills= 1 mutchkin 2 mutchkins= 1 chopin 2 chopin= 1 pint 8 pints= 1 gallon AND,to really confuse things 1 Scottish gallon = 3 Imperial gallons! Oh,and a quarter is a...

    Trek Navigator 3 conversion

Read my thread here http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/bbs02-kit-750-watt-25-amp-on-apollo-evade-mtb.18998/#post-236948 Its actually very simple to fit, the biggest thing is removing the current bottom bracket. Lots of youtube videos showing just how easy it is. Performance depends on...

    Trek Navigator 3 conversion

My BBS02,750 watt cost £380 here in the UK and a pair of 16Ah batteries were £162 along with a charger for £12. so not expensive.

Question re what conversion kit will allow slow-pedalling/give knees a rest

I have both a hub and crank drive and agree with above, the crank is no good with dodgy knees unless you are prepared to use it on mainly throttle and sacrifice some range.

    Maintenance free bike (project)

My Dillenger rack collapsed within a week of fitting it to a hardtail with the rear supports. Previously on the suspension Trax bike it was fine just supported at the seatpost.

    Poor Customer Service - LEBC

If they wanted your custom I would have expected them to at least have sat you down with a cup of coffee and explained why they were busy with another customer. I think KTM should be starting some dealer training schemes judging by recent reports. I used to work for JCB on the agricultural side...

    Trek Navigator 3 conversion

I live on similar moorland in Teesdale and would recommend a BBS01 (or preferably a BBS02 although they are slightly illegal) for hillclimbing. I find disc brakes a must and preferably hydraulic although you wont be able to put them on your Trek. You may have to consider selling it and buying...

    Wanted THORN RESISTANT INNER TUBE

As a youngster I got sick of repairing punctures on my Dawes racer so took the tube out and replaced it with a length of garden hose. Only problem was it had to be half an inch shorter than the rim circumference to fit so there was a bump every revolution. Not too bad when pedalling but a...

    Scooter / Moped style. Legal?

The batteries were lead acid,I bought a new set but no different. My Multistars should be better though http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=68822

    Battery Connectors

I use XT90s on mine because thats whats on the batteries and if they have a problem the warranty will still be valid. The connectors on the motor/controller wires are just 4mm crimped bullet connectors and are cold to the touch even after a hard pull up a 1 in 5 hill so I am happy with them. If...

    Scooter / Moped style. Legal?

I have a similar one and it can only just pull me along on the flat(108Kg). It grinds to a halt on the slightest of hills. I did add an extra battery to take it to 48V but its still gutless. I will shortly be getting a better controller (which one?) and use my Multistar batteries on it. As said...

First Ebike Purchase review: ex demo KTM

They must have known they stripped the threads removing the pedal! If they normally supply bikes without pedals I am surprised they sell any at all! If it was me I would be taking it back and getting a BBS01 bike for half the money and thats with a 16Ah battery included.
