An offer too good to refuse?

Not necessarily true,it may just be that the motor is knackered so they hide the charger and empty the battery so you cant test it

    Hobbyking 6S 16ah Lipo packs

.I prefer to remove them from the bike for charging. That way if they go up in flames the bike doesn't go up with them:( I will be charging mine in lipo charging bags which will be inside a steel ammo box which will be in a stone byre so nothing to catch fire even if the worst happens. Got mine...

Will these batteries power my BBS02?

Thanks for the advice. Its actually £6 cheaper than the B6 as well. Got my stuff ordered now except the charger was on backorder so got one off ebay rather than delay the whole order.

Will these batteries power my BBS02?

Don't worry, they will be going in a custom made case then padded with memory foam(because I have some). The whole pack will be removed to a steel ammo box for charging so both balance and power leads will be available for charging. I was looking at this charger to begin with as,being a full...

Will these batteries power my BBS02?

Thanks. Was looking at a 300W Turnigy charger but they are on backorder so may take a while to come. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__44112__Turnigy_Reaktor_300W_20A_6S_Balance_Charger.html Plenty of PC power supplies here as I used to build them for folks. Thinking that if I get...

Will these batteries power my BBS02?

I am looking for batteries to power my BBS02 750W 25A. I was hoping a pair of these would do the job and allow maximum power to be applied for at least 4 minute intervals(as long as it takes me to get up the longest step hill round here)...

    Lights again

I use a pair of rechargeable Electron Milli lights http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/accessories/lights/sets/product/review-electron-milli-light-set-11-45480/ I only ride in daylight and they last at least 11 hours in flashing mode so great for me. Best of all I won them as part of a...

    Heads Up to Stolen Bike

Actually I think the legal owner would be the insurance company who paid out for it. Perhaps someone should tell them.

BBS02 Kit,750 Watt,25 Amp on Apollo Evade MTB

Did the slow Teedsdale tour today to compare the efficiency of the BBS02 to the Dillenger. I kept to pretty much the same speed on the flat and uphills and let it roll unpowered where it would. The Dillenger managed 16 miles before the battery cut out and the BBS02 managed 30.6 miles altogether...

BBS02 Kit,750 Watt,25 Amp on Apollo Evade MTB

Had a good ride out yesterday on hills to the north of home where the Dillenger could not manage. The Evade sailed up all the hills at 11Mph with my feeble help. Biggest surprise was when I returned home and downloaded my Strava recording.....49.9 Mph !!! That was going down a 1 in 5 hill and...

    added umph

I am thinking about putting my Dillenger 1000 watt front hub on my Apolo Evade with the BBS02 crank drive. Coupled with a pair of HK 16Ah lipos in a triangle bag it should be an interesting ride. Just need to save up for the batteries first.

BBS02 Kit,750 Watt,25 Amp on Apollo Evade MTB

Current top speed on the flat is around 23 Mph which is identical to the Dillenger kit on the same peice of road. Next week I will be doing my tour of the dale that I have done a couple of times on the Dillenger and recorded with Strava http://www.strava.com/activities/186427138 and that will...

BBS02 Kit,750 Watt,25 Amp on Apollo Evade MTB

Got the cranks fitted this morning then wired it all up which was only a 10 minute job. The Dillenger rack is a better fit on this bike as I can use the supporting struts as its a hardtail. The downside as I have since found out is that the rack rattles like mad on these roads so I am going to...

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

I would like to thank Sam Dillenger for getting my problem sorted quickly(4 days from Australia) once he realised the original replacements had been lost. They are currently working on a new cuctomer care package which should speed things up greatly for us here in the UK.

BBS02 Kit,750 Watt,25 Amp on Apollo Evade MTB

I won a BBS02 on an ebay auction last week,it was £380 which I was happy to pay especially as the seller had 10 to sell and only lives 30 miles from me. The manufacturing date was 08 August 14 so it will be the 9 FET controller (I would have sent it back if it was not). I was going to fit it on...

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Took it for a spin yesterday and its so much better with the PAS. On throttle you either have very little power or its flat out. With the PAS you have 5 different speeds/power levels and if you are in fifth you can open the throttle and still get a little bit more.

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Received new controller and sensor yesterday. Plugged the sensor in today and alls working great again. Means I have a spare controller in case it ever plays up or I may even use it as the basis for another build I would love to try it on my chinese scooter!
