    8fun crank drive kit

I got a 750 watt 25 amp BBS02 from ebay last week for £380 delivered. The seller is just up the road from me in Newcastle and had 10 listed . The build date is 8th August 14 so it will have the 9 fet controller in it. Just got an Apollo Evade MTB today (£149) to put it in so gonna do that Monday...

Got an Apollo bike for my BBS02

Decided to get a new bike rather than dig my old one out from the back of the stable especially as I know both wheels were punctured.

There's always something with a bike

I upped the voltage from 36 to 48 (lead acid) and it upped the speed a bit but it has virtually no power and wont move at all on even the slightest incline. I wonder what would happen if I put my Dillenger 28 amp controller and battery on it? New controller coming this week so the old one will...

I have only tried turning the square crank with my fingers but its quite possible so with a bit of leverage I am sure it will be a doddle

There's always something with a bike

My scooter is the same as the above photo apart from the mirrors are slightly different. I would love to put a 1000 watt motor in it but dont have the engineering skills. Anyone fancy helping out?

There's always something with a bike

My current bike always needs something doing to it. Its a Trax TS01 which was £100 from Halfords so not surprising really. After sticking the Dillenger 1000 watt kit on I found the brakes were not interested in stopping it, to the point where putting my foot on the ground was better than using...

    Woosh Sirocco CDL First Impressions

The cable operated disc brakes on my bike were next to useless so I bought a pair of Clarks Exo Skeletal hydraulic brakes from Chain Reaction for less than £40 delivered and now can lock up both wheels if I choose to. If you can only fit a front one thats £20 which is no more than a cable setup...

    Advice needed please

As said I cant currently manage the Dillenger on any uphill without at least minimum motor assistance but that will change as my fitness improves. I have just got a BBS02 which is a geared drive with the hope that the drag will be a lot less so hopefully I can pedal a lot more without...

    Advice needed please

When I first got the Dillenger kit I had to use some power even on the flat to keep going but now after 500 miles I find that as long as its dead level or lower I can manage to pedal unpowered. I still cant manage any uphills or headwinds but things are improving so with time it can only improve...

    Strava Electric Bike Club

Thanks for that. We will just keep going for now and see what happens. To be honest anything over 20Mph is either under leg power or gravity. Plenty of lycras can almost double my speed on the hills round here.

Thanks Martin. Just downloaded that and will give it a try shortly. If we get kicked off Strava then we can always move to that.

    Strava Electric Bike Club

Best way to join is via a laptop/desktop etc then just log in on your phone afterwards. I dont use Strava competitively but just so I and my mates can see where I have been. It is nice to see if similar rides start taking shorter times as it means my fitness is increasing (or the wind is blowing...
