Decided to get a new bike rather than dig my old one out from the back of the stable especially as I know both wheels were punctured.

I upped the voltage from 36 to 48 (lead acid) and it upped the speed a bit but it has virtually no power and wont move at all on even the slightest incline. I wonder what would happen if I put my Dillenger 28 amp controller and battery on it? New controller coming this week so the old one will...

My scooter is the same as the above photo apart from the mirrors are slightly different. I would love to put a 1000 watt motor in it but dont have the engineering skills. Anyone fancy helping out?

The cable operated disc brakes on my bike were next to useless so I bought a pair of Clarks Exo Skeletal hydraulic brakes from Chain Reaction for less than £40 delivered and now can lock up both wheels if I choose to. If you can only fit a front one thats £20 which is no more than a cable setup...

When I first got the Dillenger kit I had to use some power even on the flat to keep going but now after 500 miles I find that as long as its dead level or lower I can manage to pedal unpowered. I still cant manage any uphills or headwinds but things are improving so with time it can only improve...

Thanks for that. We will just keep going for now and see what happens. To be honest anything over 20Mph is either under leg power or gravity. Plenty of lycras can almost double my speed on the hills round here.

I meant if I make the club private would it keep the results out of the mainstream and so just between club members

Best way to join is via a laptop/desktop etc then just log in on your phone afterwards. I dont use Strava competitively but just so I and my mates can see where I have been. It is nice to see if similar rides start taking shorter times as it means my fitness is increasing (or the wind is blowing...
