    Dillenger Electric Bikes Conversion kits

I am currently waiting for a part that failed(rpas) on my kit and after 9 e-mails they said they were sending one but no info on how long it will take. They did say elsewhere that they will be setting up a UK customer phone service but again no timeline. The kit itself seems great apart from a...

    Won bike gear on Facebook

Got a message from Paypal yesterday saying I have won a Facebook competition for some bike gear. The question was" which country has won the most Tour de Frances. Everyone else(except one) put France so I did the same. The prize(one of 15) is apparently worth £250. • 1 x UVEX Ultrasonic cc/lx...

    Cycle Paths

No such thing as a cycle path round here apart from a section of old railway track bed in the middle of nowhere and you cant speed on that because you would skid off on alll the dogs**t !

    Bike recomendations

V-brakes are great. The disc brakes just create heat and fade out in seconds. I actually had more braking force putting my feet down than pulling the brake levers.

    Bike recomendations

I changed my Clarks cable pull brakes for hydraulic on my 1000 watt bike as they were hopeless. The Clark Exo skeletal brakes were less than £40 a pair delivered.

New batteries and kits from BMSBattery

Could |I connect the 10Ah battery above in parallel with my Dillenger 10 Ah battery to double the range? They would be charged seperately of course. http://dillengerelectricbikes.co.uk/shop/spare-battery-1000w-li-ion-10ah-electric-bike-conversion-kit/ Also does anyone know how much shipping to...

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

This is why I always use Barclaycard to buy expensive stuff. If I cant get it sorted I will just get Barclays to do a chargeback for me.

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Mine arrived the day after they said it would. I am currently having problems with their aftersales service as the rpas sensor has stopped working. They have asked for pictures of the connection which I have sent 3 times, both inline and as attatchments to the e-mail and they keep saying they...

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Decided to have a (mainly) slow ride around the dale this morning to see what sort of mileage I could get out of the battery. I had to use the throttle as the RPAS has not been sorted by Dillenger yet (it seems they can only handle one e-mail a day!). I managed 16 miles in total which I am happy...

I have decided to leave it like that as it is a tidier job and I dont go out on it if there are rain clouds around around. Below is this mornings ride.

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Today I took off the Knobbly MTB tyres and fitted a pair of Kenda K west puncture resistant tyres along with a pair of slime filled tubes. I have set them at 60psi and the ride is far more comfortable now. It also seems to sit quite happily on the flat at 26.5Mph. I have also sorted the lack of...

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

The disc goes round with the crank and the sensor worked at gaps of up to 4mm although it is set at 1mm. The problem is either in the sensor itself or the controller because there is a red led that is normally lit when the power is on but its not lighting any more.

Advice on building an electric bike for velodrome pacing

I have a 1000W Dillenger front wheel kit mounted on a cheapie Halfords Trax MTB and it runs happily at around 27mph. With a 10Ah battery it will last for 11 miles on full throttle without pedalling on the flat on a calm day. That means the battery is flat after 25 minutes!!
